Bardo Electrical Ltd undertake a wide range of projects for the education sector. These include classroom extensions and refurbishments and both planned and reactive maintenance. We also provide the complete electrical installation in new build projects, for Primary through to large Comprehensive Schools and Colleges.
We have experience in delivering these projects both to the schools direct and also via main contractors, working on initiatives including the BSF (Building Schools for the Future).
Bardo is experienced in the installation of replacement lighting schemes, including LED, providing recognised cost savings, via an associated company.

A £22m specialist STE³M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Enterprise, English and Mathematics) school completed in Worrall, Sheffield.
The new split level school is of two and three-storey design. The main school building and a biomass energy centre cover over 8,600m² and was constructed while the existing facility continued to operate. A sports hall with four tennis courts, a fitness studio and main hall were built after completion of the main school, on land that was occupied by the demolished old school.
VINCI Construction UK were the Principal Contractors and Rotary were the M&E principals, with Bardo undertaking the electrical works for Rotary, winning their H&S best Contractor on the site for a number months. Vinci worked alongside the school’s eco-group to ensure the facility blended into the surrounding rural environment and also to preserve the natural wildlife.
A two storey school including entrance car park, landscaping and hard and soft play areas, Bardo were engaged as Electrical Contractor, working for Bardsley Construction. Bardo undertook all Electrical Services with specialist contractors including those nominated working under our contract.
